A classic delicious chocolate roll filled with vanilla butter, this is one of my absolute grandma favourites!
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
2 tablespoons cacao
1 teaspoon baking powder
150 gram room temperature butter
2/3 icing sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla paste
1 egg yolk
1 Beat eggs and sugar to a fluffy mix.
2 Stir in flour, cacao and baking powder.
3 Pour the mix on to a baking tray (30×40) cm. Cook in oven 225 degrees in 5-8 minutes.
4 Make the filling by mixing butter, icing sugar, vanilla paste and one egg yolk to a smooth paste.
5 Flip the cake upside down and damp the baking paper so it comes off easier. Spread the paste over the cake and roll it. Let it cool down in the fridge before slicing it up.
